Episerver Personalization has been set up to never recommend out of stock products.
However, if Episerver is recommending out of stock products, then this is most likely caused by an issue with your product feed. It could be that the feed, for whatever reason, has not updated and is still telling our system that this product is active.
If you have already checked your feed and can see the correct product stock information, then please contact developersupport@episerver.com to re-import the feed and investigate further.
