Description

You received the error "Could not load file or assembly 'Ektron.Cms.Framework.UI.Views' or one of its dependencies." upon upgrading.

Upon upgrading from Release 8.5 RC 1 or RC 2 to 8.5. you see the following error: Could not load file or assembly 'Ektron.Cms.Framework.UI.Views' or one of its dependencies.Register statements in your template referto an assembly that was renamed between 8.5 RC1 or RC2 and the final release. Since the old assembly name (Ektron.Cms.Framework.UI.Views) no longer exists in the 8.5 release, an error is thrown.To remedy this problem, open the template and update theEktron.Cms.Framework.UI.Views assembly to its new name, Ektron.Cms.Framework.UI.Controls.EktronUI.
