Create beelines from an Event Segmentation analysis

  • Updated

Beelines are new ad hoc data analyses that fork off from a point in the result of an exploration. The context of the forking point is propagated to the new analysis, where you can continue further analysis. Whenever you create a new beeline (from the original tile or from a beeline tile), a new beeline tile is created at the bottom, and an automatic scroll happens.

The following beelines can be created from an event segmentation analysis:

Segment by cohort

Creates a new event segmentation analysis with the same configuration but with the selected cohort as an additional segment.

  1. Open an event segmentation analysis, right-click any point, and click Segment by cohort.

  2. Choose a cohort from the catalog to create a beeline.

Segment by attribute

Creates a new event segmentation analysis with the same configuration, but additionally segments it by the selected attribute.

Creates a new event segmentation analysis with the same configuration but displays the results over a selected period of time.

Open an event segmentation analysis, right-click any point, and click Show over time to see results over the period of time selected in the original analysis.

Drill down

Creates a new event segmentation analysis with the same configuration, but additionally lets you drill down further on this data using other attributes.

  1. Open an event segmentation analysis, right-click any point, and click Drill down.
  2. Choose a cohort or attribute from the catalog to drill down into your results.
