Request access to a task

Users who do not have access to a task in Optimizely Content Marketing Platform (CMP) can request access.

Steps

When the user tries to access the task, they see a message that they must request access.

When they click Request Access, the owner can receive a notification, and the user sees a message that the request has been sent.

The owner can click on the notification to share the task. They can choose which permissions the user can have for the task, such as View, Comment, or Edit, then click Share.

Notification settings

Users can set their notification preferences. 

  1. Go to your avatar > your name and click on the Notifications tab.
  2. Check the box to receive App and Email notifications for Campaign/Task/Hypothesis Share. This sends you a notification when someone shares a campaign, task, or hypothesis with you or when someone requests access.
  3. Click Save.
