Optimizely is excited to announce that Mission Control is now generally available for all Configured Commerce customers and partners.
What is Mission Control?
Mission Control is Optimizely’s in-house, multi-tenant infrastructure management tool that supports building, releasing, and configuring Configured Commerce cloud environments. Mission Control lets customers and partners independently conduct deployments, database synchronizations, and other infrastructure tasks on their Configured Commerce environments without requiring Optimizely Support intervention.
Mission Control has already proven its value, having begun its life with a few years of internal-only use by our Support teams, followed by an open beta for partners and customers over the last year. Over 20,000 actions have been run in Mission Control against every manner of Configured Commerce instance.
What does “generally available” mean?
It means all Configured Commerce customers and partners can now start using Mission Control. Existing beta users will not notice many changes; for all other customers and partners, you can now gain access and start using Mission Control’s capabilities.
Optimizely intends to continue developing and improving Mission Control over the coming months to provide more visibility and control of infrastructure. Follow the release notes page to stay up to date on changes.
How do I get access?
Mission Control access is managed through Optimizely’s SSO solution, Opti ID. See Mission Control access for information.
