Use click-through stitching

  • Updated

Use click-through stitching to add an identification parameter to your campaign URLs in Optimizely Data Platform (ODP). This parameter enhances the Optimizely user resolution process, ensuring ODP captures information across devices, browsers, and sessions.

When creating an email, you can add the parameter zm64_id to one or all the links in your touchpoint. The following code block gives an example of a link before and after adding the parameter.

After

Considerations

If you enable click-through stitching, your email engagements and subsequent website traffic are linked to the original recipient. To ensure accurate insights into engagements and customer behavior, do not use this feature in frequently shared campaigns, like coupon codes or sales campaigns.
