  • Optimizely Web Experimentation

In Optimizely Web Experimentation, you can manage experiments and campaigns. This includes the following:

  • Filter experiments and campaigns by status.
  • Create, duplicate, and archive experiments and campaigns.
  • Rename experiments and campaigns.

Experiments and campaigns live in projects. Learn to manage your projects in Optimizely Web Experimentation.

Optimizely Web Experimentation campaigns can have the following statuses:

  • Running – The experiment is live and running on your site (as long as the Snippet is present).
  • Paused – The experiment was running but is currently not running. Visitors who were in this experiment while it was live will not continue to see the experiment.
  • Concluded – The experiment was running and has ended. Visitors who were in this experiment while it was live will not continue to see the experiment. You can choose to Conclude and deploy the winning variation (beta). See Deploy a winning variation for information.
  • Draft – The experiment is not yet live on your site.
  • Archived – The experiment is not actively used and will not be included in the snippet.

Set status

Select an experiment and use the Status drop-down list to change the status after running an experiment.

If you select Conclude, choose whether the outcome was PositiveNegative, or Inconclusive, then give a Description of the findings.
