Create a manufacturer

The values you add to the Manufacturer System List appear in the Manufacturer drop-down list for Brands on the Brands > Details finger tab.

You can add a level to your Brands hierarchy by using Manufacturers. To add vendors, see Work with Product Vendors. If you want this information to appear on your website, for example on the Product Detail page, you will need to add the field via the CMS or extension.

  1. Go to Administration > System > System Lists in the Admin Console.
  2. Click Edit next to Manufacturer.
  3. Select the Values finger tab.
  4. Click Add System List Value.
  5. Enter the Name, then add a description, additional info, and a deactivate on date, if needed.
  6. Click Save.
