When you are ready to make your changes public, use the Publish function to push your changes to your live site.
- Click Publish in the Page Editor. You will see an error message if there are no changes.
- Select the checkbox next to the changes you want to publish.
- Choose whether to Publish Immediately, or use the date picker for when to publish these changes. You can also set a rollback date to revert back to the previous version. You can return to this window later if you want to change or remove the rollback date.
Click Publish. Your changes should appear immediately or at the time scheduled. If scheduled, the page displays as blue in the page tree.
Compare your changes
If you want to compare your changes before publishing, you can click Compare in the publish dialogue.
Choose Side by Side or Full Width to shift between page views.
Click Close to exit the comparison tool.
Publish multiple pages
Click the down arrow next to Publish in the Page Editor, and select Bulk Publish.
- Click Compare to see the selected page with its currently published version.
- Select the check boxes next to the drafts you want to publish.
- Choose whether to Publish Immediately, or use the date picker for when to publish these changes. You can also set a rollback date to revert back to the previous version. You can return to this window later if you want to change or remove the rollback date.
- Click Cancel to close the window or Publish to publish your changes.
If a page cannot be published, you will see a window showing the pages with the reasoning why. You can Cancel and not publish any of the pages, or click Skip these pages and publish to publish all other pages selected.
Remove Future Publish
If you need to edit a page with an active future publish date and time, follow these steps:
- Go to the page with pending publication.
Click Publish > Remove Future Publish.
- Make your desired changes to the page.
- Save and publish when ready
