You can use the Admin Console's local file system to manage content. Use this article to learn some of the common tasks.

Additional options are often available by right-clicking an object. For example, right-click an image to view, download, rename, or delete the file.

Folder panel

The Folder Panel displays content in a hierarchical tree view, making it easier to find and manage content.

Optimizely recommends that you limit the number of image files within a given directory to 1,000 to prevent performance issues while using the content manager.

Add folders

You can add a new folder by clicking New Subfolder. Folder names cannot start with a capital letter.

The UserFiles folder is the primary folder and cannot be the child of any other folder. You can add subfolders for a more complex folder hierarchy. The UserFiles folder name cannot be changed.

Toolbar

The toolbar is used to access the File Manager features.
