Manage files and CDNs

You can upload images and files directly to the web server in Optimizely Configured Commerce and host that content to keep your content all in one place. This feature is usable out of the box within Configured Commerce.

A Content Delivery Network (CDN) is a large system of servers across the internet that provides users with web content in any form, such as text, downloadable objects, applications, or live-streaming media.

Companies often use a CDN (such as Amazon Web Services) for better performance and availability, as well as the cost savings from offloading a significant portion of traffic from a company's own network resources.

This diagram illustrates that multiple people in multiple places can access the content for your website without accessing the same server.
