Usage reporting in Optimizely Content Marketing Platform (CMP) lets you access detailed reports on platform usage. You can filter, generate, and export reports on account activity, engagement, and workflow interactions based on selected date ranges.
For example, as an Admin, you can generate a report on user activity to assess CMP adoption across the team. As a Marketing Manager, you can track campaign and task creation trends to measure productivity.
Measurements
Activity
Usage reporting measures activity by when a user performs actions such as creating a campaign, editing a task, or viewing a specific page within CMP. If a user does not perform an action for more than 10 minutes, CMP considers them inactive.
Session
A session begins when a user logs into CMP and performs actions. The session ends when the user has no activity for 10 minutes or more. When the user clicks a button or triggers an event again, CMP creates another session.
Session duration
Session duration is the time between the first action and the last recorded activity before the session ends due to inactivity (10 minutes of no interaction).
