Asset utilization dashboards

In Optimizely Content Marketing Platform (CMP), you can build an asset utilization dashboard to see which of your Library assets are being used. This helps you understand the trends and gaps in asset production.

Card types

You can create the following types of cards for your dashboard:

  • Downloads – Visualize asset downloads over a specified period.
  • Uploads – Visualize asset uploads over a specific period.
  • Views – Visualize asset views over a specific period.
  • Downloads vs Views – Compare asset downloads and asset views.

Create a dashboard

  1. Go to Library > Dashboards and click Create Dashboard.
  2. Enter a name and click Create.
  3. Click Add card and choose your card type, such as Views.
  4. Give the chart a name.
  5. Select the Chart Type: Column, Bar, Line, or Pie.
  6. Choose how to Group the assets for the X-axis of the chart. You can choose Asset Name, Asset Type, Collection, Time Frame, Owner, or any other field in your organization. If you choose Time Frame, select the Date Interval.
  7. (Optional) Choose how to Pivot by, which splits a bar or line chart into components.
  8. (Optional) Add any Filters to the chart, which limit the scope of the Y-axis count or the number of items displayed on the X-axis.
  9. Click Save. 

If you want to add more cards, follow steps 3-9 again.
