Activate agent

Prerequisites

Before using the GA4 Web Traffic Report Generation agent, an Opal administrator must first configure the Google Analytics (GA4) connector tools using Optimizely Connect Platform (OCP). See the GA4 connector tools documentation for instructions. 

Install the agent

After configuring the GA4 connector tools, complete the following to add the GA4 Web Traffic Report Generation agent to your Opal instance.

Opal Administrators, Agent Builders, and users with the Add, edit, and install specialized agents  attribute for a custom role can add agents to their organization's Optimizely Opal instance. See Add users and set permissions.

In Opal,

  1. Go to Agents > Agent Directory.
  2. Select GA4 Web Traffic Report Generation agent.

  3. Click Install Agent to add the agent to your Opal instance. 

Use

In Opal Chat, enter @ga_traffic_reporter and provide the following details:

  • Date range – (Optional) Enter a specific date range for the traffic report.
