Conductor AEO Gap Finder is an Optimizely Opal agent that identifies high-priority Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) content gaps by analyzing your website against tracked competitors using Conductor Intelligence data.

Prerequisites

Install agent

Opal Administrators, Agent Builders, and Opal Users with the Add, edit, and install specialized agents  attribute for a custom role can add agents to their organization's Optimizely Opal instance. See Add users and set permissions.

Install the agent from the Opal Agent Directory.

  1. Go to Agents > Agent Directory.
  2. Select Conductor AEO Gap Finder.

  3. Click Install Agent to add the agent to your Opal instance.

Use the agent

In Opal Chat, enter @aeo_gap_finder and provide the following details:

  • Time period – The period to analyze. For example, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, or This month.
  • (Optional) Competitors to analyze – Specific competitor names or domains to look for citation gaps against. Leave blank to use all tracked comparison sites.
  • (Optional) Topics to focus on – Specific tracked topics to scope the analysis to. Leave blank to analyze all configured topics.

The agent returns a canvas report with a prioritized gap table, citation source analysis, intent gap breakdown, and up to five content recommendations with three immediate actions.
