Email Performance Comparison is an Optimizely Opal agent that analyzes and compares email campaign performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify success factors and performance differences.

Install agent

Opal Administrators, Agent Builders, and Opal Users with the Add, edit, and install specialized agents  attribute for a custom role can add agents to their organization's Optimizely Opal instance. See Add users and set permissions.
  1. Go to Agents > Agent Directory.
  2. Select Email Performance Comparison.
  3. Click Install Agent.

If Install Agent is disabled, ensure you have the Required Optimizely products connected in your Opal instance.

Use the agent

In Opal Chat, enter @email_performance_comparison and enter the following details:

  • (Optional) Campaign IDs – The campaign IDs to compare.
  • (Optional) Transactional Mail IDs – The transactional mail IDs to compare.

Provide at least one of Campaign IDs or Transactional Mail IDs. The agent also accepts natural language descriptions of which campaigns to analyze and retrieves the relevant IDs automatically.

The agent delivers a detailed performance comparison in a canvas, including a multi-campaign dashboard, funnel analysis, success driver identification, strategic hypotheses, and an optimization plan.
