Prerequisites

You must configure the Profound connector tools before using the Profound Citation Gap Analysis agent.

Install agent

Opal Administrators, Agent Builders, and users with the Add, edit, and install specialized agents  attribute for a custom role can add agents to their organization's Optimizely Opal instance. See Add users and set permissions.

In Opal

  1. Go to Agents > Agent Directory.
  2. Select Profound Citation Gap Analysis.

  3. Click Install Agent to add it to your instance.

Use

In Opal Chat, enter @profound_citation_gap_analysis and provide the following details:

  • Topic – Topic to be audited for AI citations.
  • (Optional) Report Period – Period to audit content citation. For example, "Last 7 days" or "December 2025".
