Page Conversion Optimization is an Optimizely Opal agent that performs a full conversion audit on any live web page and returns a prioritized list of fixes ordered by expected conversion impact.

  • Challenge – Teams often rely on gut instinct when deciding what to change on a page to improve conversions. Without a structured audit process, optimization efforts scatter, miss high-impact fixes, and waste resources on low-impact changes.
  • Agent outcome – The agent delivers a prioritized action plan listing evidence-backed fixes by expected conversion impact. This replaces subjective decision-making with a structured audit.

Install agent

Opal Administrators, Agent Builders, and users with the Add, edit, and install specialized agents  attribute for a custom role can add agents to their organization's Optimizely Opal instance. See Add users and set permissions.

Install the agent from the Opal Agent Directory.

  1. Go to Agents > Agent Directory.
  2. Select Page Conversion Optimization.

  3. Click Install Agent to add it to your Opal instance.

Use the agent

In Opal Chat, enter @page_conversion_optimization and provide the following details:

  • Page URL – Enter the URL of your page.
  • (Optional) Additional Details – Additional instructions, for example a mobile-only assessment.

The agent delivers a canvas with a prioritized list of conversion fixes, rated across six dimensions and ordered by estimated conversion impact.
