Use campaign recipes

When creating and sending campaigns in Optimizely Data Platform (ODP), use campaign recipes to automatically generate segments, filters, behaviors, and content structure. Change the campaign settings and the touchpoint content to customize according to your needs.  

Configure a campaign

Use ODP's ecommerce integrations to create campaigns using available recipes. If you do not have the integrations, you must create the recipes.   

Use a recipe

  1. Go to Activations > Overview > Create New Campaign.
  2. Select the campaign type between Behavioral or Transactional. Transactional campaigns do not display if you are not subscribed to the add-on.
  3. Select an available recipe if integrated with a third-party app.
  4. Configure the campaign's Enrollment and Touchpoints. You can customize the touchpoints, including the design, content, and sender profile.
  5. Click Save and Go Live when ready to send the campaigns.

The following lifecycle marketing campaigns can enhance engagement, boost product sales, and develop a comprehensive view of your customers over time:

  • Cart abandonment – Encourage prospective buyers who abandoned carts to convert.
  • Browse abandonment – Encourage prospective buyers who visited your websites to convert.
  • Welcome series – Send a welcome message to new customers thanking them for signing up.
