ODP Lite is not available to new customers as of May 1, 2024.

Optimizely Data Platform (ODP) Lite unifies data across existing Optimizely products, allowing you to gain insights on your customers. Architecturally, it utilizes existing functionality from ODP, which is Optimizely's full-featured customer data platform.

If you are using ODP Lite and want to upgrade to ODP, contact your Customer Support Manager.

Get started

See the ODP developer documentation for the first few steps of the ODP Lite setup.

  1. Implement the ODP JavaScript tag
  2. Import historical data
  3. Sync ongoing data

After you implement the ODP JavaScript tag, import your historical data, and sync your ongoing data, you can set up the ODP Lite application for your company.

Manage account settings

Configure and manage all of your company's ODP Lite settings on the Account Settings page. This is where you can manage user accounts and their permissions, your account's time zone and currency symbol, alerts for errors in processes you have running in ODP Lite, data objects and fields, compliance requests, and more. For more information, see the user documentation about ODP Lite account settings.

Analyze customer data using reports

Gain insights on customer behavior by creating reports on the Company > Reports page. For more information, see the user documentation on ODP Lite reports.

Learn more about your customers

ODP Lite uses the ODP JavaScript tag to track customer behavior on your site. As noted in the ODP developer documentation, the JavaScript tag tracks page view events only. To track additional events (like orders and product detail view), you need to implement custom JavaScript.

ODP Lite tracks these customer events on the Customers > Profiles page. For more information on customer identification, profiles, real-time segments, and more, see the user documentation on customers.

You can create up to five real-time segments in ODP Lite. Once you reach the limit (five segments), you can delete segments as desired so that you can create more up to the limit. To unlock the ability to create more than five real-time segments, contact the Optimizely sales team to upgrade to ODP.

Manage compliance and consent

See the user documentation on compliance and consent for more information on processing GDPR and CCPA compliance requests from your customers, and to learn more about how reachability and email status is set in ODP Lite.

Integrate external data into ODP Lite

ODP Lite includes the following integrations:
